分居東、西區第二的暴龍和馬刺4日正面對決，沒想到結果卻是一面倒，馬刺在上半場就早早將勝負定調，全隊12名球員皆有分數進帳，終場便以110比82大勝暴龍。
馬刺開局8分鐘後便以26比10取得大幅領先，從此便未再給暴龍任何機會，團隊籃球球風依舊流暢，馬刺全場共傳出32次助攻，更以54％的命中率投進13記三分球，讓暴龍是防不勝防。
Kawhi Leonard上場28分鐘便進帳全隊最高25分，LaMarcus Aldridge拿下23分，兩人上半場便聯手拿下38分，僅比暴龍全隊得分少3分而已。
不僅進攻了得，馬刺此役防守也毫不含糊，讓暴龍全場命中率僅37％，僅有DeMar DeRozan維持水準攻下26分，另一得分大將Kyle Lowry投9僅中2，拿下6分創下本季個人新低。
「他們（馬刺）狠狠地踢了我們的屁股、教訓了我們一頓。」Lowry賽後如此表示。
至於暴龍總教練Dwane Casey則如此稱讚馬刺：「這是一支冠軍級隊伍的表現！」

總統蔡英文今天表示，台灣要進步，不只要用優質地方治理為人民解決問題，也要持續落實區域聯合治理，讓有限資源能更有效率應用，發揮最大效果。
二○一六中桃新興城市論壇在台中市台灣大道市政大樓舉行，台中市長林佳龍、桃園市長鄭文燦在蔡總統見證下，簽署合作備忘錄，共六面向及廿四項合作提案，針對棒球運動、青年創業、產業及觀光等面向啟動跨市合作。
蔡總統表示，中央政府推出「五+二」產業創新計畫，其中智慧機械之都就是以台中為核心，而亞洲矽谷計畫落腳在桃園，相信這兩個方案能發展新興城市潛力到極致，也讓台灣在國際競爭時能成就最強國家隊。
蔡總統說，台灣能否進步，就要看地方治理能力與品質、甚至於最重要的執行力，期待透過論壇，讓台中、桃園發展出另一個超越傳統、空間與距離嶄新合作模式，打造有效合作、解決問題治理模式。
